Procure It Direct is different to a standard Procurement Agent – we take advice from the relevant leading party i.e. Owning Company, Project Manager, Design Team and/or Operator on quantities and specifications of the FF&E / OS&E – we then source alternative suppliers on an ‘equal and approved’ basis therefore matching (or sometimes beating) the original entry specifications put forward by the design team. The vast majority of our supply network is based in Asia, predominantly China, where we have our regional office based in Guangzhou. We directly employ hotel procurement specialists for the day-to-day operations of the company .

It’s worth pointing reinforcing that we are not Procurement Agents, as we go direct to manufacturing source and cut out the need for agents and middle men, usually resulting in large client savings. Our goods are quality controlled by our team and we take contractual responsibility on price and delivery (unlike a Procurement Agent). As an initial idea, here are the product lines we are confident we can be competitive in:

- Windows (aluminium)

- Curtain wall systems / facades

- Construction rated plywood

- Glass

- Sand / Cement / Aggregates

- Steel

- Carpets

- Natural stones i.e. marbles, granites etc.

- Ceramic floor tiles

- Rugs

- Wallpapers

- Wall fabrics & feature walls i.e. GRP moulds / materials

- Curtains, blackout, sheers

- Curtain accessories i.e. tracks, pull, wands

- Plasterboard partition systems

- Lighting

- Decorative lighting / lampstands

- Doors

- Mirrors

- Artwork

- Fixed casegoods i.e. wardrobes / headboards / panelled wall features

- Loose casegoods i.e. nightstands, desks etc

- Loose furniture i.e. sofas, chairs

- Upholstery i.e. fabrics, soft fabrics, linens, genuine leather, faux leathers

- Soft decorative items i.e. pillows, throws

- Artefacts

- Mattresses

- Bed boxes

- Doors

- Glass doors

- Ironmongery / door hardware

- Shower cubicles

- Sanitaryware i.e. baths, toilets, wash had basins (can be branded)

- Tapware

- Bathroom accessories i.e. towel racks, robe hooks, grab handles etc

- Switches, sockets, IT face plates

- Mini Bars

- Safes

- Coat hangers

- Tea Coffee making facilities

- Bed & Bath linen, robes, slippers etc (can be branded)

- Restaurant furniture

- F&B OS&E i.e. cutlery, hollowares, glasses etc

The above list is not exhaustive as we could review other items, should you think of anything else that needs procuring i.e. uniforms, kitchen utensils, golf carts, housekeeping trolleys and so on. In order to achieve great savings, the above lines are subject to Minimum Order Quantities (MOQ’s). We do not have product catalogues as we rely on the Interior Designer to steer the designs around their aspirations. To quote effectively and be ultra-competitive, we would need the following information:

- Bill of Quantities

- Specifications

- Cut Sheets (containing part numbers, manufacturers references of original specified items)

- Drawings

We operate on a supply only basis – we have found that clients can still generate large savings by issuing our goods as ‘free issue’ to the installation contractor and providing them with an agreed mark up to manage the installation.
